It all started with a childhood love of mountains, instilled by my father. As I grew in age and mountain experience, I originally picked up a camera to try and record something of the wonder that I saw with my eyes and that I felt in my heart. Nowadays, just put me with my camera in any wild place at the start or end of a day and I am a contented man!

This site contains the results of over 60 years of climbing mountains and nearly 50 years of photography.
